About Jim Hansen

40 Years of Building, and Every Project Still Gets My Full Attention

My name is Jim Hansen, and I currently live in Navarre, Florida. I grew up in the Florida panhandle and cut my teeth in construction at an early age. Over the last 40 years, I've been involved in construction in nearly every way you can imagine.

In my teenage years, I was building barns with local farmers, roofing in the summer to earn cash, and helping electricians and plumbers as a helper. I spent several years in the sheetrock trade before realizing my true passion: putting all the pieces together — everything that goes into home construction.

I knew I needed to learn more, so I accepted positions in the electrical supply trade, plumbing and HVAC supply, as well as a management position overseeing the remodel and installation side of the business for a major corporation.

Being a contractor — a true home builder — is so much more than holding a license. It's knowing how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together. How to schedule them. How to make every trade work as a team to deliver the best product on time.
